A sixteen-year-old girl in Elk River, Minnesota, unexpectedly becomes pregnant and chooses to have her baby adopted by a childless couple while navigating her own complicated emotions and relationships. Juno is a 2007 American English-language Comedy Drama motion picture starring Elliot Page, Michael Cera, Jennifer Garner, Jason Bateman, Allison Janney, J. K. Simmons and John Simmit. Mandate Pictures in association with Mr. Mudd. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Lianne Halfon, Mason Novick, Russell Smith and John Malkovich. Juno is written by Diablo Cody and directed by Jason Reitman. Fox Searchlight Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. Juno was released on 14th February 2008 and takes a screen time of 96 minutes. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released and became successful at box office. Juno was made on a budget of $7 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $232 million. Cinematography was done by Eric Steelberg and editing by Dana E. Glauberman. The music was composed by Mateo Messina. At the 2008 Oscar Awards It won an award for Best Writing, Original Screenplay.

      The most you can say about Juno given you can ignore the films air of contrivance, self consciousness and cake and eat it attitude to social and moral issues (most clearly seen in the abortion clinic scene, where Juno decides to keep the thing because of the centres unpleasant smell) is that it at least tries to inject some wit and engagement into the tired teen coming of age comedy.
