The Glass Castle is a 2017 American English-language Biography Drama motion picture featuring Brie Larson, Woody Harrelson, Max Greenfield, Sarah Snook, Naomi Watts, Ella Anderson and Kenny James. The movie is inspired from The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls. Gil Netter Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Erik Feig, Gil Netter and Ken Kao. The Glass Castle is written by Destin Daniel Cretton, Andrew Lanham and Marti Noxon and it is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton. Lionsgate acquired the distribution rights for the movie. The Glass Castle was released on 21st September 2017 and takes a screen time of 127 minutes. The Glass Castle was made on a budget of $72 million and at the box office it grossed only $31 million.
