Kaante

A group of six men with criminal records in Los Angeles plan a daring bank heist, each with their own motivations, after being wrongfully detained by the police. Kaante is a 2002 Indian Hindi-language Action Crime film starring Amitabh Bachchan, Kumar Gaurav, Sanjay Dutt, Sunil Shetty, Lucky Ali, Mahesh Manjrekar and Jf Davis. White Feather Films in association with and PNC Films. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Bharat S Shah, Sanjay Gupta, Pritish Nandy, Film Club Limited, Larry Mortoff and Sanjay Sippy. Kaante is written by Sanjay Gupta, Vinay, Yash and Milap Zaveri and it is directed by Sanjay Gupta. Kaante was released on 20th December 2002 and takes a screen time of 145 minutes. Kaante was made on a budget of ₹30 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹20 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Sanjay Gupta and Yash-Vinay. Cinematography was done by Kurt Brabbee and editing by Bunty Nagi. The music was composed by Anand Raj Anand along with Lucky Ali, Shekhar Ravjiani, Vishal Dadlani, Vishal Shekhar and Gregor Narholz. At the 2003 IIFA Awards It won an award for Best Special Effects (Visual).
