A rookie CBI officer must enlist the help of an incarcerated criminal in order to catch a serial child killer, who has recently escaped police custody. Sangharsh is a 1999 Indian Hindi-language Action Crime motion picture starring Akshay Kumar, Preity Zinta, Ashutosh Rana, Madan Jain, Vishwajeet Pradhan, Amarjeet Jha and Naushaad Abbas. Sangharsh was Produced by Mukesh Bhatt. Sangharsh is written by Mahesh Bhatt, Girish Dhamija and Thomas Harris and it is directed by Tanuja Chandra. Vishesh Films acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Sangharsh was released on 3rd September 1999. The Film was successful at box office. Sangharsh was made on a budget of ₹4 crore and it was a hit at box office gross of ₹5 crore. Cinematography was done by Dharma Teja and editing by Amit Saxena. The music was composed by Lalit Pandit along with Jatin Pandit and Jatin-lalit.
