Sooryavanshi traces the acts and serious antics of DCP Veer Sooryavanshi, the chief of the Anti-Terrorism Squad in India. Sooryavanshi is a 2021 Indian Hindi-language Action Drama movie featuring Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Ranveer Singh, Ajay Devgan, Gulshan Grover, Neena Gupta and Tawhid Rike Zaman. Sooryavanshi was Produced by Rohit Shetty, Karan Johar, Hiroo Yash Johar, Aruna Bhatia and Apoorva Mehta. Sooryavanshi is written by Yunus Sajawal and Rohit Shetty and it is directed by Rohit Shetty. Reliance Entertainment acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Sooryavanshi was released on 5th November 2021 and takes a screen time of 145 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Sooryavanshi was made on a budget of ₹165 crore and it was a hit at box office gross of ₹287 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Yunus Sajawal. Cinematography was done by Jomon T. John and editing by Bunty Nagi. The music was composed by Amar Mohile along with Himesh Reshammiya, S. Thaman, Tanishk Bagchi, Lijo George Dj Chetas and Jam8.
