A photographer seeks help from the Indian Army after fleeing a terror attack and shows them photos of the attacker, leading to a series of events where a man named Guru becomes mistaken for the terrorist and is eventually involved in a plan to deceive the terrorist groups, but accidentally kills the defense ministers daughter and is betrayed by his real parents, leading to an attack where casualties occur, but ultimately proving Gurus innocence and emphasizing the need to overcome prejudices and live together equally. Swasthik is a 1988 Indian kannada-language Action Crime motion picture featuring Raghavendra Rajkumar, Vijayalakshmi, Honnavalli Krishna, Radha Ramachandra and L Srinath. Poornima Enterprises was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Parvathamma Rajkumar. Swasthik is written by Upendra and Mico Dileep and it is directed by Upendra. Vajreshwari Combines acquired the distribution rights for the film. Swasthik was released on 3rd October 1998 and takes a screen time of 140 minutes. The screenplay for the movie was written by Upendra. Cinematography was done by B. C. Gowrishankar and editing by T.
