Devar Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Devar and Sandow M. M. A. Chinnappa Thevar. Kadhal Vaaganam is written by T. N. Balu and directed by M. A. Thirumugam. Devar Films acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Kadhal Vaaganam was released on 21st October 1968. Cinematography was done by N. S. Varma and editing by M. A. Thirumugam.
