Billa

A cop chases international gangster Billa and happens to be the only one to him die. He places Velu, Billa's lookalike, inside the gang to get information. But Velu is framed for killing the cop. Billa is a 2007 Indian Tamil-language Action Romance motion picture featuring Ajith Kumar, Namitha, Adithya Menon, Nayanthara Kurian, Rashin Rahman, Prabhu Ganesan and Santhanam N. The movie is inspired from Don by Salim Javed. Ananda Picture Circuit was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Suresh Balaje, L. Suresh and Abdurrahman. M. Billa is written by Javed Akhtar, Salim Khan and Vishnuvardhan and it is directed by Vishnuvardhan. Pyramid Saimira acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Billa was released on 14th December 2007 and takes a screen time of 140 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Billa was made on a budget of ₹15 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹80 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Vishnuvardhan. Cinematography was done by Nirav Shah and editing by A. Sreekar Prasad. The music was composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
