The movie David Billa portrays the criminal underworld of Malaysia, where the notorious international don David Billa is pursued by multiple parties, leading to his eventual demise and the emergence of a look-alike to catch his gang members. Ananda Picture Circuit was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Suresh Balaje, L. Suresh and Abdurrahman. M. Billa is written by Javed Akhtar, Salim Khan, Vishnuvardhan and Minosh Sivanesan and it is directed by Vishnuvardhan. Pyramid Saimira acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Billa was released on 14th December 2007 and takes a screen time of 140 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Billa was made on a budget of ₹15 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹80 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Vishnuvardhan. Cinematography was done by Nirav Shah and editing by A. Sreekar Prasad. The music was composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
