A grief-stricken man takes the law into his own hands when he begins to kidnap and murder corrupt public servants. Gabbar Is Back is a 2015 Indian Hindi-language Action Crime movie featuring Akshay Kumar, Shruti Haasan, Suman Talwar, Sunil Grover, Jaideep Ahlawat, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Deepjyoti Das. The movie is inspired from Ramanaa by A. R. Murugadoss. Bhansali Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures. Gabbar Is Back is written by Shiraz Ahmed, A.r. Murugadoss and Rajat Arora and it is directed by Krish Jagarlamudi. Viacom 18 Motion Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. Gabbar Is Back was released on 30th April 2015 and takes a screen time of 121 minutes. Gabbar Is Back was made on a budget of ₹79 crore and it was a hit at box office gross of ₹86 crore. Cinematography was done by Nirav Shah and editing by Rajesh G. Pandey. The music was composed by Yo Yo Honey Singh along with :, Chirantan Bhatt, Manj Musik and Amar Mohile.
