A detective named Won-ho investigates Asias largest drug cartel led by a mysterious man named Mr. Lee, with complications arising when multiple drug dealers pretend to be Mr. Lee, and he forms an alliance with a former gang member named Rak to infiltrate the cartel and seek vengeance, leading to a climactic confrontation with Brian, the person responsible for Raks mothers death, and ending with an ambiguous gunshot. Believer is a 2018 Korean Korean-language Action Crime film featuring Cho Jin-woong, Ryu Jun-yeol, Kim Joo-hyuk, Kim Sung-ryung, Park Hae-joon, Jin-woong Jo and Dong-young Kim. The movie is inspired from Drug War. Yong Film was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Jung Hee-soon. The movie is directed by Lee Hae-young. Next Entertainment World acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Believer was released on 24th May 2018 and takes a screen time of 123 minutes. The movie made a box office gross of $39 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Chung Seo-kyung and Lee Hae-young. Cinematography was done by Kim Tae-kyung and editing by Yang Jin-mo. The music was composed by Dalpalan.
