After a cursed videotape kills her nieces friends, journalist Rachel investigates the tapes origin and discovers the dark history of a psychic girl named Samara, ultimately sacrificing her ex-boyfriend and saving her nephew from the same fate. The Ring is a 2002 American English-language Horror Mystery motion picture featuring Naomi Watts, Martin Henderson, David Dorfman, Jane Alexander, Brian Cox, Daveigh Chase and Barbara Petricini-buxton. The movie is based on Ring by Hiroshi Takahashi Ring by Koji Suzuki. The Ring was Produced by Walter F. Parkes and Laurie Macdonald. The Ring is written by Ehren Kruger, Kôji Suzuki and Hiroshi Takahashi and it is directed by Gore Verbinski. DreamWorks Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. The Ring was released on 18th October 2002 and takes a screen time of 115 minutes. The Ring was made on a budget of $48 million and at the box office it grossed only $0 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Ehren Kruger. Cinematography was done by Bojan Bazelli and editing by Craig Wood. The music was composed by Hans Zimmer.
