In a world devastated by an unknown catastrophe, Malorie and a group of survivors struggle to survive as they protect themselves from lethal creatures that drive people insane at just a glance, leading to a perilous journey down a river with two children in search of a safe haven. Bird Box is a 2018 English-language Drama Horror film starring Sandra Bullock, Trevante Rhodes, John Malkovich, Danielle Macdonald, Sarah Paulson, Jacki Weaver and Brandon Van Vliet. The movie is inspired from Bird Box by Josh Malerman. Bluegrass Films in association with Chris Morgan Productions. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Chris Morgan, Clayton Townsend and Dylan Clark. Bird Box is written by Eric Heisserer and directed by Susanne Bier. Netflix acquired the distribution rights for the film. Bird Box was released on 21st December 2018 and takes a screen time of 124 minutes. Bird Box was made on a budget of $19 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Eric Heisserer. Cinematography was done by Salvatore Totino and editing by Ben Lester. The music was composed by Academy Award Oscar winner Atticus Ross along with Trent Reznor.
