In this story, a scavenger finds a relic linked to Jesus, which possesses him and leads him to Los Angeles, where he teams up with a cynical occult expert to uncover a plot involving an antichrist, while also helping a detective solve her sisters death and ultimately facing Lucifer to save humanity. Constantine is a 2005 American English-language Drama Fantasy movie starring Keanu Reeves, Rachel Weisz, Shia Labeouf, Tilda Swinton, Pruitt Taylor Vince, Djimon Hounsou and Kadrolsha Ona Carole. The movie is inspired from John Constantine by Alan Moore Stephen R. Bissette Rick Veitch John Totleben. Constantine was Produced by Erwin Stoff, Lauren Shuler Donner, Benjamin Melniker, Michael E. Uslan, Lorenzo Di Bonaventura and Akiva Goldsman. Constantine is written by Jamie Delano, Garth Ennis, Kevin Brodbin and Frank A. Cappello and it is directed by Francis Lawrence. Warner Bros. Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Constantine was released on 8th February 2005 and takes a screen time of 121 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Constantine was made on a budget of $100 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $230 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Kevin Brodbin and Frank Cappello.
