A blind violinist regains her eyesight after a successful cornea transplant, but begins to see terrifying visions, leading her to uncover the mystery behind her eyesight and prevent a tragic accident. The Eye is a 2008 American English-language Drama Horror movie starring Jessica Alba, Alessandro Nivola, Parker Posey, Rade Erbed Ija, Rade Serbedzija, Fernanda Romero and J.d. Garfield. The movie is inspired from The Eye by Pang brothers Jo Jo Yuet-chun Hui. Cruise/Wagner Productions in association with Vertigo Entertainment. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Paula Wagner, Don Granger and Michelle Manning. The movie is directed by David Moreau and Xavier Palud. Lionsgate acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. The Eye was released on 28th February 2008 and takes a screen time of 98 minutes. The Eye was made on a budget of $12 million and it was a hit at box office gross of $12 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Sebastian Gutierrez. Cinematography was done by Jeffrey Jur and editing by Patrick Lussier. The music was composed by Marco Beltrami.
