In 1990 Minnesota, a detective investigates a rape case and uncovers a network of satanic cults behind similar crimes, ultimately seeking justice and putting an end to their influence. Regression is a 2015 English-language Crime Drama film starring Ethan Hawke, Emma Watson, David Thewlis, Lothaire Bluteau, Dale Dickey, David Dencik and Heidi Matijevic. Regression was Produced by Alejandro Amenabar, Fernando Bovaira, Alejandro Amen Bar and Christina Piovesan. The movie is written and directed by Alejandro Amenabar and Alejandro Amen Bar. Universal Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Regression was released on 3rd December 2015 and takes a screen time of 106 minutes. Regression was made on a budget of $20 million and at the box office it grossed only $17 million. Cinematography was done by Daniel Arany and editing by Carolina Mart nez Urbina and Geoff Ashenhurst. The music was composed by Roque Ba Os.
