The Harper family experiences terrifying events as they are haunted by an evil entity called The Boogeyman, which feeds off fear and mimics voices, leading to an intense battle to save their lives and ultimately leaving the possibility of its return. The movie is inspired from The Boogeyman by Stephen King. The Boogeyman was Produced by Shawn Levy, Dan Levine and Dan Cohen. The movie is directed by Rob Savage. 20th Century Studios acquired the distribution rights for the film. The Boogeyman was released on 2nd June 2023 and takes a screen time of 99 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. The Boogeyman was made on a budget of $35 million and it was a hit at box office gross of $67 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Scott Beck, Bryan Woods and Mark Heyman. Cinematography was done by Eli Born and editing by Peter Gvozdas. The music was composed by Patrick Jonsson.
