During the Great Depression, a con man finds himself saddled with a young girl who may or may not be his daughter, and the two forge an unlikely partnership. Paper Moon is a 1973 American English-language Comedy Crime motion picture starring Ryan O neal, Madeline Kahn, John Hillerman, Tatum O neal, P.j. Johnson, Jessie Lee Fulton and Don Wilson. The movie is inspired from Addie Pray by Joe David Brown. The Directors Company was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Frank Marshall and Peter Bogdanovich. Paper Moon is written by Joe David Brown and Alvin Sargent and it is directed by Peter Bogdanovich. Paramount Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie.
