During the Great Depression, a con man finds himself saddled with a young girl who may or may not be his daughter, and the two forge an unlikely partnership. Paper Moon is a 1973 American English-language Comedy Crime motion picture starring Ryan O neal, Madeline Kahn, John Hillerman, Tatum O neal, P.j. Johnson, Jessie Lee Fulton and Don Wilson. The movie is inspired from Addie Pray by Joe David Brown. The Directors Company was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Frank Marshall and Peter Bogdanovich. Paper Moon is written by Joe David Brown and Alvin Sargent and it is directed by Peter Bogdanovich. Paramount Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Paper Moon was released on 9th May 1973 and takes a screen time of 102 minutes. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released and became successful at box office. Paper Moon was made on a budget of $2 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $30 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Alvin Sargent. Cinematography was done by L szl Kov cs and editing by Verna Fields At the 1974 Oscar Awards It won an award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role (Shirley Temple).
