Rock of Ages

In 1987 Los Angeles, Sherrie, an aspiring singer, meets Drew, a barback at The Bourbon Room, and they build a relationship while navigating their dreams of music success, the financial troubles of the club, and misunderstandings with rock star Stacee Jaxx, eventually reconciling and performing together at a concert. Rock of Ages is a 2012 American English-language Documentary Comedy film starring Julianne Hough, Diego Boneta, Russell Brand, Paul Giamatti, Catherine Zeta-jones, Malin Kerman and Carmela Zumbado. The movie is based on Rock of Ages by Chris D Arienzo. Rock of Ages was Produced by Jennifer Gibgot, Garrett Grant, Carl Levin, Tobey Maguire, Scott Prisand, Dan Shafer and Matt Weaver. Rock of Ages is written by Justin Theroux and directed by Adam Shankman. Warner Bros. Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Rock of Ages was released on 16th August 2012 and takes a screen time of 123 minutes. Rock of Ages was made on a budget of $75 million and at the box office it grossed only $59 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Chris D Arienzo, Allan Loeb and Justin Theroux. Cinematography was done by Bojan Bazelli and editing by Emma E. Hickox.
