A man named Sandy Patterson becomes a victim of identity theft by Diana, a con artist, leading him to face financial troubles and wrongful arrest; he tracks down Diana, they go on a journey to clear his name, evade criminals and con people, eventually returning home and reconciling, but Diana is revealed to be someone else and Sandy visits her in prison with a surprise.
