A struggling actor returns home after his mothers death, reconnects with old friends, meets a pathological liar named Sam, confronts his past, forgives his father, and decides he doesnt want to be without Sam, leading to a passionate kiss. Garden State is a 2004 American English-language Comedy Drama film starring Zach Braff, Ian Holm, Method Man, Natalie Portman, Peter Sarsgaard, Kenneth Graymez and Michael Wilkinson. Camelot Pictures in association with Jersey Films and Double Features Films. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Gary Gilbert, Dan Halsted, Pamela Abdy and Richard Klubeck. The movie is written and directed by Zach Braff. Fox Searchlight Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. Garden State was released on 28th July 2004 and takes a screen time of 102 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Garden State was made on a budget of $2 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $35 million. Cinematography was done by Lawrence Sher and editing by Myron I. Kerstein. The music was composed by Alexi Murdoch along with Chad Fischer.
