Munna Bhai, a gangster who falls in love with a radio jockey named Janvi, pretends to be a history professor in order to win a contest about Mahatma Gandhi and impress her, but must actually learn about Gandhi with the help of his sidekick, Circuit, and eventually wins Janvis heart after facing various obstacles and dishonesty from others, while promoting Gandhigiri through his radio show.
