Peter, a social media strategist, plans to introduce his new boyfriend Tim to his family during the holidays, but discovers Tim is married and convinces his best friend Nick to pretend to be his boyfriend; however, things become complicated when Peters mother sets him up on a blind date and his father realizes the connection between Peter and Nick, leading to a series of events that ultimately ends with Peter and Nick confessing their love and announcing their relationship on Christmas Day.
