Six guests are invited to a strange house and must cooperate with the staff to solve a murder mystery. The movie is inspired from Cluedo by Anthony E. Pratt. Guber-Peters Company in association with PolyGram Filmed Entertainment and Debra Hill Productions. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Debra Hill. Clue is written by John Landis, Jonathan Lynn and Anthony E. Pratt and it is directed by Jonathan Lynn. Paramount Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film.
