The Tale of Despereaux

In the French kingdom of Dor, a series of events triggered by a sailors rat companions accident leads to a dark period until a brave mouse named Despereaux forms unlikely alliances, confronts danger to save Princess Pea, and ultimately helps restore peace and joy to the kingdom. The movie is based on The Tale of Despereaux by Kate DiCamillo. Relativity Media in association with Larger Than Life Productions. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Gary Ross and Allison Thomas. The Tale of Despereaux is written by Chris Viscardi, Will Mcrobb and Gary Ross and it is directed by Sam Fell and Rob Stevenhagen. Universal Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film.
