Bo Ho Film Company Ltd in association with Paragon Films. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Chua Lam, Wu Ma and Leonard Ho. Long de xin is written by Barry Wong and directed by Sammo Hung. Golden Harvest acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Long de xin was released on 14th September 1985 and takes a screen time of 98 minutes. The motion picture made a box office gross of $20 million. Cinematography was done by Arthur Wong and editing by Peter Cheung, Joseph Chiang, Wong Ping, Ding Yue and Ng Kwok-wa. The music was composed by Violet Lam along with Clavin Poon and Sherman Chow.
