The Fugitive

A man named Dr. Richard Kimble is wrongly accused of murdering his wife, escapes from a crashed bus, goes on the run from US Marshals, returns to Chicago to find the true killer and uncovers a conspiracy involving a dangerous drug, ultimately proving his innocence with the help of a US Marshal named Samuel Gerard. The Fugitive is a 1993 American English-language Action Crime film featuring Harrison Ford, Tommy Lee Jones, Sela Ward, Joe Pantoliano, Andreas Katsulas, Jeroen Krabb and Dale Hawes. The movie is inspired from The Fugitive by Roy Huggins. Kopelson Entertainment was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Arnold Kopelson. The Fugitive is written by Jeb Stuart, David Twohy and Roy Huggins and it is directed by Andrew Davis. Warner Bros. acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. The Fugitive was released on 6th August 1993 and takes a screen time of 130 minutes. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released and became successful at box office. The Fugitive was made on a budget of $44 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $368 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Jeb Stuart and David Twohy. Cinematography was done by Michael Chapman and editing by Don Brochu, David Finfer, Dean Goodhill, Dov Hoenig, Richard Nord and Dennis Virkler. The music was composed by James Newton Howard. At the 1994 Oscar Awards It won an award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Tommy Lee Jones).
