After a suicide bombing, CIA officer Matt Graver is sent to start a war between Mexican drug cartels by assassinating a lawyer and capturing the daughter of a rival cartel kingpin for a false flag operation, but things go wrong and operative Alejandro Gillick ends up defying orders to protect the witness. Sicario is a 2015 American English-language Action Crime movie starring Emily Blunt, Benicio Del Toro, Josh Brolin, Victor Garber, Jon Bernthal, Daniel Kaluuya and Richard Roeper. Black Label Media in association with Thunder Road. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Basil Iwanyk Sr., Basil Iwanyk, Thad Luckinbill, Edward L. Mcdonnell, Molly Smith and Trent Luckinbill. Sicario is written by Taylor Sheridan and directed by Denis Villeneuve. Lionsgate acquired the distribution rights for the film. Sicario was released on 17th September 2015 and takes a screen time of 121 minutes. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released and became successful at box office. Sicario was made on a budget of $30 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $84 million. Cinematography was done by Roger Deakins and editing by Joe Walker. The music was composed by J Hann J Hannsson.
