A struggling inventor buys a small creature called a mogwai for his son, but when it gets wet, it spawns more mogwai that transform into mischievous gremlins and cause havoc in the town, until the protagonist and his girlfriend manage to kill most of them and the store owner takes the original mogwai back. Gremlins is a 1984 American English-language Comedy Fantasy motion picture featuring Zach Galligan, Phoebe Cates, Hoyt Axton, Frances Lee Mccain, Polly Holliday, John Louie and Brad Kesten. Warner Bros. in association with Amblin Entertainment. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Michael Finnell. Gremlins is written by Chris Columbus and directed by Joe Dante. Warner Bros. acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Gremlins was released on 8th June 1984 and takes a screen time of 106 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Gremlins was made on a budget of $11 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $153 million. Cinematography was done by John Hora and editing by Tina Hirsch. The music was composed by Jerry Goldsmith.
