A teenager named Marty McFly travels back in time with the help of a time machine made from a DeLorean car, and must fix the past in order to secure a better future for his family. Back to the Future is a 1985 American English-language Adventure Comedy movie starring Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, Lea Thompson, Crispin Glover, Thomas F. Wilson, Claudia Wells and Hal Gausman. Amblin Entertainment in association with Universal Pictures. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Bob Gale and Neil Canton. Back to the Future is written by Robert Zemeckis and Bob Gale and it is directed by Robert Zemeckis. Universal Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. Back to the Future was released on 9th December 1986 and takes a screen time of 116 minutes. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released and became successful at box office. Back to the Future was made on a budget of $19 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $383 million. Cinematography was done by Dean Cundey and editing by Arthur Schmidt and Harry Keramidas. The music was composed by Alan Silvestri. At the 1986 Oscar Awards It won an award for Best Effects, Sound Effects Editing.
