Mighty Joe Young

A woman raises an infant gorilla to maturity, but they face danger when the poacher who killed the womans mother seeks revenge, leading to a Hollywood rampage and eventual return to the gorillas home in Uganda. Mighty Joe Young is a 1998 American English-language Action Adventure film starring Bill Paxton, Charlize Theron, Rade Erbed Ija, Naveen Andrews, Regina King, Peter Firth and Michael Satterfield. The movie is based on Mighty Joe Young by Merian C. Cooper Ruth Rose. Walt Disney Pictures in association with RKO Pictures and The Jacobson Company. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Ted Hartley and Tom Jacobson. Mighty Joe Young is written by Merian C. Cooper, Ruth Rose, Mark Rosenthal and Lawrence Konner and it is directed by Ron Underwood.
