Jersey Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Barry Sonnenfeld, Michael Shamberg, Stacey Sher and Danny Devito. Out of Sight is written by Elmore Leonard and Scott Frank and it is directed by Steven Soderbergh. Universal Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. Out of Sight was released on 15th October 1998 and takes a screen time of 123 minutes. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released and became successful at box office.
