Jumanji

A group of friends play a mysterious board game called Jumanji, which leads to one of them being sucked into the game for 26 years and chaos ensuing when new players find it years later, until they manage to finish the game and reverse everything. Jumanji is a 1995 American English-language Action Adventure movie featuring Robin Williams, Kirsten Dunst, David Alan Grier, Bonnie Hunt, Jonathan Hyde, Bebe Neuwirth and Joe Ranft. The movie is based on Jumanji by Chris Van Allsburg. TriStar Pictures in association with Interscope Communications and Teitler Film. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Scott Kroopf and William Teitler. Jumanji is written by Jonathan Hensleigh, Greg Taylor, Jim Strain and Chris Van Allsburg and it is directed by Joe Johnston. Sony Pictures Releasing acquired the distribution rights for the film. Jumanji was released on 4th April 1996 and takes a screen time of 104 minutes. Jumanji was made on a budget of $65 million and at the box office it grossed only $0 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Jonathan Hensleigh, Greg Taylor and Jim Strain. Cinematography was done by Thomas E. Ackerman and editing by Robert Dalva. The music was composed by James Horner.
