The movie is inspired from Star Trek by Gene Roddenberry. Jerry Bruckheimer Television in association with Nana.10.Co.il and Warner Bros. Television. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Rick Berman. Star Trek: Insurrection is written by Gene Roddenberry, Rick Berman and Michael Piller and it is directed by Jonathan Frakes. Paramount Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Star Trek: Insurrection was released on 4th March 1999 and takes a screen time of 103 minutes.
