In Ancient Egypt, a Hebrew baby named Moses is saved and adopted by the queen, grows up alongside the future Pharaoh, discovers his true identity, and ultimately leads his people to freedom after confronting the Pharaoh and receiving divine commandments. The Prince of Egypt is a 1998 American English-language Animation Adventure film featuring Val Kilmer, Ralph Fiennes, Michelle Pfeiffer, Sandra Bullock, Jeff Goldblum, Danny Glover and Rodger Bumpass. The movie is based on Book of Exodus. DreamWorks Animation was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Penney Finkelman Cox and Sandra Rabins. The Prince of Egypt is written by Philip Lazebnik and Nicholas Meyer and it is directed by Brenda Chapman, Steve Hickner and Simon Wells. DreamWorks Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. The movie has a running time of 99 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. The Prince of Egypt was made on a budget of $70 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $218 million. Editing was done by Nick Fletcher. The music was composed by Hans Zimmer. At the 1999 Oscar Awards It won an award for Best Music, Original Song.
