An Egyptian prince learns of his identity as a Hebrew and his destiny to become the chosen deliverer of his people. The Prince of Egypt is a 1998 American English-language Animation Adventure movie featuring Val Kilmer, Ralph Fiennes, Michelle Pfeiffer, Sandra Bullock, Jeff Goldblum, Danny Glover and Brian Tochi. The movie is inspired from Book of Exodus. DreamWorks Animation was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Penney Finkelman Cox and Sandra Rabins. The Prince of Egypt is written by Philip Lazebnik and Nicholas Meyer and it is directed by Brenda Chapman, Steve Hickner and Simon Wells. DreamWorks Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. The Prince of Egypt was released on 18th December 1998 and takes a screen time of 99 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. The Prince of Egypt was made on a budget of $70 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $218 million. Editing was done by Nick Fletcher. The music was composed by Hans Zimmer. At the 1999 Oscar Awards It won an award for Best Music, Original Song.
