In a matriarchal society, Barbie rejects Kens advances and focuses on her career and friendships, until she starts experiencing physical imperfections and embarks on a journey to find the child playing with her in the real world to cure herself, eventually challenging the patriarchal system in her world and deciding to live as a human. The movie is based on Barbie by Mattel. BARI was Produced by Geetha Krishna, David Heyman, Margot Robbie, Tom Ackerley and Robbie Brenner. BARI is written by Greta Gerwig and Noah Baumbach and it is directed by Greta Gerwig. Warner Bros. Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. BARI was released on 8th April 2022 and takes a screen time of 114 minutes. BARI was made on a budget of $128 million and at the box office it grossed only $4 million. Cinematography was done by Rodrigo Prieto and editing by Nick Houy. The music was composed by Mark Ronson along with Andrew Wyatt.
