The movie is inspired from Morbius the Living Vampire by Roy Thomas Gil Kane. Columbia Pictures in association with Marvel Entertainment. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Matt Tolmach, Avi Arad and Lucas Foster. The movie is directed by Daniel Espinosa. Sony Pictures Releasing acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Morbius was released on 19th March 2021. The screenplay for the movie was written by Matt Sazama, Burk Sharpless, Art Marcum and Matt Holloway. Cinematography was done by Oliver Wood. The music was composed by Jon Ekstrand.
