Bhansali Productions in association with Viacom18 Motion Pictures. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Viacom18 Motion Pictures. Mary Kom is written by Saiwyn Qadras, Ramendra Vasishth and Karan Singh Rathore and it is directed by Omung Kumar. Viacom18 Motion Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. Mary Kom was released on 5th September 2014 and takes a screen time of 122 minutes. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released and became successful at box office. Mary Kom was made on a budget of ₹38 crore and it was a hit at box office gross of ₹61 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Saiwyn Quadras.
