Basic Instinct is written by Joe Eszterhas and directed by Paul Verhoeven. TriStar Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. Basic Instinct was released on 20th March 1992 and takes a screen time of 128 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Basic Instinct was made on a budget of $49 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $352 million. Cinematography was done by Jan de Bont and editing by Frank J. Urioste. The music was composed by Jerry Goldsmith.
