The movie is inspired from Tanaji Malusare. Subhedar was Produced by Chinmay Mandlekar, Digpal Lanjekar, Pradyot Pendharkar, Anil Warkhade, Shramik Gojamgude, Vinod Jawalkar, Shruti Daund, Nishid Jawalkar and Aniket Jawalkar. The film is written and directed by Digpal Lanjekar. AA Films acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Subhedar was released on 25th August 2023 and takes a screen time of 154 minutes. The motion picture made a box office gross of ₹13 crore. Cinematography was done by Priyanka Mayekar and editing by Sagar Shinde and Vinay Shinde. The music was composed by Devdatta Manisha Baji.
