Rainmaker Entertainment in association with Barbie Entertainment. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Shelley Dvi-vardhana and Shawn Mccorkindale. Barbie: The Princess & the Popstar is written by Steve Granat and Cydne Clark and it is directed by Ezekiel Norton and Zeke Norton. Universal Studios Home Entertainment acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Barbie: The Princess & the Popstar was released on 27th August 2012 and takes a screen time of 73 minutes. Editing was done by Treg Brown. The music was composed by Rebecca Kneubuhl along with Gabriel Mann.
