An adventurous girl finds another world that is a strangely idealized version of her frustrating home, but it has sinister secrets. Coraline is a 2009 American English-language Animation Family movie starring Dakota Fanning, Teri Hatcher, Jennifer Saunders, Dawn French, Ian Mcshane, Keith David and John Linnell. The movie is based on Coraline by Neil Gaiman. Laika in association with Pandemonium Films. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Bill Mechanic, Claire Jennings, Henry Selick and Mary Sandell. Coraline is written by Henry Selick and Neil Gaiman and it is directed by Henry Selick. Focus Features acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Coraline was released on 6th February 2009 and takes a screen time of 100 minutes. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released and became successful at box office. Coraline was made on a budget of $60 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $124 million. Cinematography was done by Pete Kozachik and editing by Christopher Murrie and Ronald Sanders. The music was composed by Bruno Coulais.
