The Woman King was Produced by Maria Bello, Viola Davis, Cathy Schulman and Julius Tennon. The Woman King is written by Maria Bello and directed by Gina Prince-bythewood. Sony Pictures Releasing acquired the distribution rights for the film. The Woman King was released on 14th October 2022 and takes a screen time of 135 minutes. The Woman King was made on a budget of $60 million and at the box office it grossed only $14 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Dana Stevens. Cinematography was done by Polly Morgan and editing by Terilyn A. Shropshire. The music was composed by Terence Blanchard.
