Officer Shaw and his team go undercover in Los Angeles to target an assassin and end up in Tijuana, Mexico, where they navigate through the chaos of the drug cartel while forming unexpected connections and facing their own moral dilemmas. The Line is a 2009 American English-language Action Crime motion picture featuring Matthew Mcconaughey, Marisa Tomei, Ryan Phillippe, Josh Lucas, John Leguizamo, Michael Pe A and Monet Mazur. The movie is based on The Lincoln Lawyer by Michael Connelly. Lakeshore Entertainment in association with Sidney Kimmel Entertainment and Stone Village Pictures. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Sidney Kimmel, Tom Rosenberg, Gary Lucchesi, Richard Wright and Scott Steindorff. The movie is directed by Brad Furman. Lionsgate acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. The Line was released on 21st December 2011 and takes a screen time of 118 minutes. The Line was made on a budget of $40 million and at the box office it grossed only $2 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by John Romano. Cinematography was done by Lukas Ettlin and editing by Jeff McEvoy. The music was composed by Cliff Martinez.
