A former New Orleans cop helps a border patrol captain combat a dangerous drug smuggling operation at the Mexico-US border, led by a rogue special forces unit member and fueled by his personal vendetta against the man responsible for his daughters death. Robb, Stephen Lord, Stacie Errico, Gary Mcdonald, Bianca Van Varenberg and Radoslav Parvanov. Stage 6 Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Moshe Diamont and Gilbert Dumontet. The Shepherd is written by Joe Gayton and Cade Courtley and it is directed by Isaac Florentine. Sony Pictures Home Entertainment acquired the distribution rights for the movie. The Shepherd was released on 4th March 2008 and takes a screen time of 95 minutes. The Shepherd was made on a budget of $13 million and at the box office it grossed only $0 million.       Van Dammes superb work in the central role does carry the movie through a few less than enthralling stretches, yet it eventually does become impossible to overlook the films increasingly negative attributes (ie the two bland, utterly forgettable villains). ( Read More )
