In a future where crimes are predicted by clairvoyants known as precogs, a police chief joins the program after his son disappears, but he discovers a hidden murder vision and uncovers a conspiracy, prompting him to go on the run and seek evidence of his innocence, eventually leading to the downfall of the Precrime program and a resolution for the chief and his wife. Dick, Scott Frank and Jon Cohen and it is directed by Steven Spielberg. 20th Century Fox acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Minority Report was released on 31st May 2019 and takes a screen time of 145 minutes. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released and became successful at box office. Minority Report was made on a budget of $102 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $358 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Scott Frank and Jon Cohen. Cinematography was done by Janusz Kami ski and editing by Michael Kahn. The music was composed by Academy Award Oscar winner John Williams.
