A teenager with the power to teleport uses his abilities to escape his troubled life and engages in a series of battles with a group of individuals determined to eradicate teleportation abilities. Jumper is a 2008 American English-language Action Adventure film featuring Hayden Christensen, Jamie Bell, Rachel Bilson, Michael Rooker, Annasophia Robb, Max Thieriot and Michelle Hippe. The movie is based on Jumper by Steven Gould. Regency Enterprises in association with New Regency Productions, Hypnotic and Dune Entertainment. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Arnon Milchan, Lucas Foster, Simon Kinberg and Jay Sanders. Jumper is written by David S. Goyer, Jim Uhls, Simon Kinberg, Steven Gould, Simon Crane, Lucas Foster, Scott Gardenhour, Vince Gerardis, Jeffrey Harlacker, Joe Hartwick Jr., Diego Loreggian, Stacy Maes, Arnon Milchan, Georgina Pope, Jay Sanders, Ralph Vicinanza and Kim H. Winther and it is directed by Doug Liman. 20th Century Fox acquired the distribution rights for the film. Jumper was released on 14th February 2008 and takes a screen time of 88 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Jumper was made on a budget of $85 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $225 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by David S. Goyer, Jim Uhls and Simon Kinberg. Cinematography was done by Barry Peterson and editing by Saar Klein and Don Zimmerman. The music was composed by John Powell.
