The film X-Men: First Class depicts the early years of the friendship and journeys of Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr in becoming Professor X and Magneto, as they team up with other mutants and CIA to stop Sebastian Shaw from starting World War III. X-Men: First Class is a 2011 English-language Action Adventure movie featuring James Mcavoy, Michael Fassbender, Rose Byrne, Jennifer Lawrence, January Jones, Oliver Platt and Samantha Kelly. The movie is based on X-Men by Stan Lee Jack Kirby. Marvel Entertainment in association with The Donners Company, Bad Hat Harry Productions, Dune Entertainment and Ingenious Film Partners. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Bryan Singer, Lauren Shuler Donner, Simon Kinberg and Gregory Goodman. X-Men: First Class is written by Ashley Miller, Zack Stentz, Jane Goldman, Matthew Vaughn, Sheldon Turner, Bryan Singer, John Byrne, Arnold Drake, Jack Kirby, John Romita Sr., Roy Thomas, Alex Toth, Len Wein, Chris Claremont, Dave Cockrum, Herb Trimpe, Ethan Van Sciver, Bret Blevins, John Romita Jr, Don Heck, Grant Morrison, Jim Mooney, Stan Lee and Werner Roth and it is directed by Matthew Vaughn. 20th Century Fox acquired the distribution rights for the film. X-Men: First Class was released on 2nd June 2011 and takes a screen time of 131 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. X-Men: First Class was made on a budget of $160 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $352 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Ashley Edward Miller, Zack Stentz, Jane Goldman and Matthew Vaughn. Cinematography was done by John Mathieson and editing by Lee Smith and Eddie Hamilton. The music was composed by Henry Jackman.
