A young boy named Thaddeus Sivana is rejected by a wizard and later seeks revenge, while 14-year-old Billy Batson becomes a superhero and forms a superhero family with his foster siblings to defeat Thaddeus and embrace their new role as heroes. Shazam! is a 2019 American English-language Action Fantasy movie featuring Zachary Levi, Mark Strong, Asher Angel, Jack Dylan Grazer, Djimon Hounsou, Michelle Borth and Luqman A. Agiya. The movie is based on Characters from DC. New Line Cinema in association with DC Films, The Safran Company, Seven Bucks Productions and Mad Ghost Productions. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Peter Safran. Shazam! is written by Darren Lemke, Geoff Johns and Henry Gayden and it is directed by David Sandberg and David F. Sandberg. Warner Bros. Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Shazam! was released on 4th April 2019 and takes a screen time of 132 minutes. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released and became successful at box office. Shazam! was made on a budget of $100 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $367 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Henry Gayden. Cinematography was done by Maxime Alexandre and editing by Michel Aller. The music was composed by Benjamin Wallfisch.
