A hematologist develops a blood substitute in a world where most of the population has turned into immortal vampires, but he must confront his own vampire brother and evade a military team while searching for a cure. Daybreakers is a 2010 English-language Action Horror movie starring Ethan Hawke, Willem Dafoe, Claudia Karvan, Michael Dorman, Sam Neill, Vince Colosimo and Angelo Montano. Lionsgate in association with Screen Australia, Pictures in Paradise, Film Finance Corporation Australia, Pacific Film & Television Commission and Furst Films. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Chris Brown, Sean Furst and Bryan Furst. The motion picture is written and directed by Michael Spierig, Peter Spierig and The Spierig Brothers. Lionsgate acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Daybreakers was released on 14th January 2010 and takes a screen time of 98 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Daybreakers was made on a budget of $20 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $51 million. Cinematography was done by Ben Nott and editing by Matt Villa. The music was composed by Christopher Gordon.
