Mortal Engines

In a future where mobile cities hunt and absorb smaller settlements, a historians apprentice and a woman seeking revenge join forces to survive, uncover the truth, and ultimately bring about peace with the help of the Anti-Traction League and by waging a battle against their enemies, ultimately deciding to embark on their own journey together. Mortal Engines is a 2018 English-language Action Adventure motion picture featuring Hera Hilmar, Robert Sheehan, Hugo Weaving, Jihae, Ronan Raftery, Leila George and Victoria Seymour. The movie is inspired from Mortal Engines by Philip Reeve. Universal Pictures in association with Media Rights Capital and WingNut Films. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Amanda Walker, Deborah Forte, Fran Walsh, Peter Jackson and Zane Weiner. Mortal Engines is written by Fran Walsh, Peter Jackson and Philippa Boyens and it is directed by Christian Rivers. Universal Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. Mortal Engines was released on 6th December 2018 and takes a screen time of 128 minutes. Mortal Engines was made on a budget of $100 million and at the box office it grossed only $83 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Fran Walsh, Philippa Boyens and Peter Jackson. Cinematography was done by Simon Raby and editing by Jonno Woodford-Robinson. The music was composed by Junkie Xl along with Tom Holkenborg.
